Quintessence of the
ONA: Code of Kindred Honour
Largely overlooked, Code of Kindred Honour seems to
many of the nowadays ONAers or those who associate themselves with the O9A as
nothing more but a „Terms and Conditions“ square that you check when you sign
up to some website or start using some application. You never pay attention to
it, you just skip it and go straightforward to using it. And just like that
section, one can find the Code attached to many of the key articles and MSS of
the Order, but still remains equally neglected due to the assumption that it's
understood already and that there is no need to give it some more attention. In
the following lines I will observe is it truly so.
So, I find that there is so little understanding not
only towards the Code itself, but towards the weightiness of the same. First of
all, and most importantly, I find the Code to be about certain principles,
rather then it is some sort of sacrosanct code of behavior. In my view, such a
thing would go against all the O9A is all about, especially with its all
important emphasis on individual judgement and self-honesty. These principles
are essentially: personal honor, self-honesty, self-reliance, and loyalty to
kindred brothers and sisters.
But who are really these „kindred brothers and sisters”?
The Code defines that in the first sentence: “Those who are our brothers and
sisters live by – and are prepared to die by – our unique code of honour”. The
honor is what divides Us from Them. It is yet another confirmation that the O9A
is an antithesis to the prevalent mentality of conformist, self-indulgent Homo
Hubris, where there is no much space for honorable conduct. As we can see,
people today long for those good ol’ times past when a man’s word really had some
value, when people were bound to the word given. At the same time, they are all
complaining how you can’t trust anyone today, how everyone is only looking for the
way how to best use you and how we are all alienated from each other. But no
one ever seems to notice how hypocrite those statements are. People behave as
if they have nothing to do with that prevalent order of things that they
criticize so much. As if they didn’t behave in the same manner, using every
opportunity they get to trick and lie only to satisfy their petty interests and
needs that end up consuming them.
Gnawers and myself were lucky enough to be born and to grow up in Eastern
Europe where, for the long time people refused to accept prevailing Western
values. Now, that dam is breached, but still majority of the people in this
region uphold our traditional values, accepting Western ones only declaratively due to political
atmosphere.
“Lupus homini lupus” is the moto of that alienated
world we are living in. And it couldn’t possibly be any other way when a
person’s word means nothing, when you need some additional guarantee to trust that word. That guarantee is usually some personal interest or
fear that convinces you of their word. In other words, something you can use to
blackmail them if they divulge from the word given. Such is the state of trust
among mundanes.
Furthermore, that is all enhanced through egalitarian
doctrine by which even the worst amongst us have some human rights that
everyone should respect. Equality is misplaced to outer characteristics on
purpose, because they only focus on nationality, religion, ethnicity, social or
cultural background etc. By doing so, people are once again generalized to
groups based on these abstractions with the aim to become an even greater group
where we are all “equal” in upholding the “values” of this dishonorable
paradigm.
On the other side, this cry of mankind for honor and
honesty isn’t fake. Actually, I find it to be true, because it is the only
natural way of people, though they allow it to manifest very rarely, out of
fear that someone could use it against them. If people lived a truly honorable
life or at least strived to live that way, would this world be so messed up as
it is? The best part is that honor doesn’t need definition, it is something
that we are all familiar with, that unmistakable feeling when we simply know
what is our honorable duty. So, the Code does only what is implied in its name,
codifies it and serves as a reference point. Muhammad s.a.w.s once said: “What is bad and unlawful is clear in itself, and what
is good and lawful is also clear in itself”. I will use this opportunity for a brief note
regarding Islam. The Way of Islam is one of the most potent forms which can
train the body and the mind to reflexive and instinctive upholding of the Code.
This is why the Gnawers are strongly advised to take on this Insight Role, and
for the Inner Circle of the Lodge (AoZ) this Insight Role is mandatory.
First the Code does so through numerous iterations of
personal honor and then it binds it to loyalty to kindred. As previously
stated, kindred brothers and sisters are those whom I personally know and who
have proven that they embody those principles presented through the Code and to
whom one swore personal oath of loyalty. The key determinant here is those
principles. Therefore, one of the aims of the ONA is to drive evolution of
humanity towards embracing those principles, and that is how new type of being
can ever emerge. It is also one of the main features that describe someone
being ONA “… living and abiding by the
Code of Kindred Honour …together with (ii) a
striving to follow one of the three O9A Ways/praxises.“ Following one
of any of these practices can be in whole or in part, but the Code is the one that
utterly defines someone O9A. In the Way of Drecc or Niner, there is nothing but
that, these people simply need to adhere to the Code. Again, not adhering to
the Code, in a way of some dogmatic set of duties, but to uphold those
principles trough their very living.
The Code and the Art of Culling
On the other hand, in the texts that deal with culling, there is also only one
requirement that will make someone suitable for the opfer, and that is, again,
lack of honor that is shown through the tests. So, if I didn't know someone got
initiated into the ONA, and my Lodge decided to subject them to the tests, and
then they fail them all and show lack in character, are they a brother/ sister
or an opfer? No doubt for me. And on the opposite note, if someone who some
occultheads would call out to be mundane would pass the tests, why do you think
they deserve not place in the New Aeon? I would value more someone like that,
who naturally upholds aforementioned values in his life to have them by my side,
than some weak and inept pretender who hides behind some form that makes them
feel special and different. Another very important thing regarding the Art of
Culling is inspecting own motives. One has to be clear on whether they are
practicing the Art of Culling because they uphold our evolutionary principles,
or because their pathological urges to hurt another being and to empower their
self-image of being“evil”. The Culling is the most dangerous and the most
slippery step of the Way, not only in legal and moral, but primarily in spiritual
sense. It can lead you both to godhood and to qliphotic existence, to use this
well established quaballistic term. Also, we all change in time. How the one
could know if their opfer is not going to change in time and add to human evolution
in their own way. The one can only know this through acausal knowing and
acausal empathy, or to put it in more devotional terms, the one can only know
this for sure trough the communication with the Dark Ones, as it was described
in the novel written by Russian TBS Nexion entitled “Kiss of Marena”. Also, as it was
noted in some O9A MSS the culling is not for everyone. Some will never reap benefits
from it, and only will face disastrous outcomes.
Also, I find that all of that fuzz that has been going in relation to ONA all
over the internet, had once more, only one aim, and that is to point out the
importance of those principles and this same position that I am stating here -
that simply initiation, or owning a „blog nexion“ or whatever can never make
you O9A. It’s a sort of honeytrap as the
Code teaches us that we shouldn’t be purely replacing the essence with forms, cancerous
abstractions that many great ideas have fell victims to.
Us and Them
Now that we have, hopefully, established who are „we“ and
who are „them“, we can go through that relation that Code emphasizes so much.
First of all, there is so called „etiquette“ or the way „kindred brothers and
sisters“ should treat each other. Naturally, there is respect of personalities
of everyone involved, their unique ways, choices and nature, without imposing
of the „right“ and „wrong“ ways upon them. That is disrespectful in essence; it
goes against principle of individual judgement and eventually leads to
dogmatism. By saying this I don’t mean to imply that there should be no guidance
or advice, but it is the farthest one should, or could, ever go. Sister or
brother, if they are true to those set of principles will eventually find the
means to grasp some greater purpose and meaning. It is irrelevant what they
will have to go through and in what way, and at what terms, because however
does it appear to be, it is relevant to them. I believe that it’s the personal
character based on honour, loyalty, self-honesty and an innate striving for
alchemical change that counts, and not how many times one will have to fall
while walking the Path. The fact that they rise evermore stronger and continues
is what matters. Besides, none of us can be completely free of mundanity on
every level, until at least genuine Adepthood is reached, and passing the Abyss
later on. What will come out of that is as unique as the path that led them
there. One cannot treat their kin by humiliating them, backstabbing and Satan
knows what other deviations may come out of such relationships. Especially if
there is a personal oath of allegiance as there should be between those
brothers and sisters that are personally known to each other, and which is so
often wordless, as it is somehow natural to be. Some will say that these things
can always happen, as we are only humans (still) only striving to be something
greater, that we are only seeds of the new type of being enshrined in the Code
itself, and there are yet many personal reasons and feelings that can bring us
down, and others alongside. Nonetheless, isn’t that the easiest way, having in
mind our faculty of rationalization? I am sure everyone could easily find an
excuse for being a failure, without ever accepting that truth. But when we do
so, aren’t we killing that same seed before it could’ve ever even started
growing? It’s like we cut the flow of that acausal energy, that Azoth which
waters the seed of new type of being, of immortality, within each and every one
of us. And yes, living by kindred honour is one of means to achieve what the
esoteric philosophy of the O9A posits as the purpose of our mortal lives:
“One secret of our darkly-numinous wyrd is
that our mortal, causal, life is not the end, but only a beginning, and that
if we live and die in the right way, we can possibly attain for ourselves a
life in the realms of the acausal. Our Law of The Sinister-Numen is the most
practical way for us to do this, to achieve this, for this Law is a
manifestation, a presencing, of acausal energy, and by living in accord with
this Law we are accessing, and presencing within ourself, more acausal energy,
and thus evolving and increasing our own type of acausal energy.”
So,
I find the Code, or living according to those principles it embodies to be the
most practical way towards achieving that proclaimed goal, and developing our
latent abilities. In perfect setting the Code alone would be enough to achieve
perfection and immortality. However, only due to many limitations
imposed by mundane society we have to employ some occult methods and to deal in
politics. If you uphold the principles
in your everyday’s life you keep awareness to the goal, you are consciously
making choices driven by that inner feeling of personal honor that improves
your character in doing so, and it feels as if you were in constant meditation.
And this is important because then you stay away from the devolutionary and
contaminated ethos of Homo Hubris, and through your own life you embody
something that is essentially different and opposite to that, and that is how
you become the necessary antithesis, both to the dominating current in the
world, but also to that same current that has been implanted into you by
various means of indoctrination, in a spiral way towards (im)personal
synthesis.
Naturally,
even if you have all of this in mind, should this be the way to treat those
others the same way? Of course not, because you are not here to fight for
equality or their rights that you should somehow respect. That so called
“political correctness” is the devolutionary force as equality is a mere
abstraction. An abstraction created to keep you aside and „equal“ to the sick,
rotting and weak, so that you would hinder your own abilities for the sake of
them, that are willfully enslaved with no desire to do anything about it. So
treat them as resources that they are, that is an evolutionary principle that
we can observe in the Nature all around us. However, O9A is not just that
simpleminded and one-sided, like those who uphold “Might is Right” principle,
it also requires serious emotional development, and thus weighting every
decision using scales of reason and empathy.
Having
said all of this, I must conclude yet again, that simply living by the Code is
the ultimate ritual. More effectively than any other does it cleanse you from
indoctrination, or deprograms you. It is also purely alchemical in nature, as
it uncovers all that is inhibiting for your own progress and it burns it on
sacrificial bonfire through real life experiences that you go through. Besides,
it is a constant Insight Role as in everyday life you have to deal with those
others, and to use some means you might not be comfortable with, but these
should only empower you as none of them could ever have any hold on you, and
that is yet again how you break free from the chains that sickening morality of
this Civilization has tied you with. Once you break free, you are that fresh
wind that creates, because of the vision that you now have, standing atop the
highest pyramid of skulls, yet feeling pain of existence of each and every
being.
Esoteric and exoteric purpose of
the Code
As
we can see, and as it has been shown throughout this text, Code is truly
sinisterly numinous in nature, and it is one more reason that goes for the
statement that its value is truly quintessential for SN Tradition. I find
sinister elements in treating mundanes as a resource, in the above described way
of relation towards them. It is not so only because of manipulation and stuff,
as much as it’s about amorality and behavior that is socially inacceptable, and
because it can be shocking, terrifying, and we should understand and know how
just important it is “that what is Dark,
Sinister or Satanic is made real in a practical way, over and over again. That
is, that what is dangerous, awesome, numinous, tragic, deadly, terrible,
terrifying and beyond the power of ordinary mortals, laws or governments to control
is made manifest.“ By proclaiming personal honor and authority of
individual judgement, Code wholeheartedly calls upon rejecting all abstract
laws of abstract State and other impersonal constructs and calls upon acts that
are meant to fight them, to fight the enslaved world we live in. It does appear
to be anarchistic but it really isn’t if it would be governed by those
principles of the Code of honor. People would detach from centralized and
impersonal State towards smaller communities governed by their unique ways of
life and principles. Eventually, it would create those individuals that „no law
could ever outlaw“, or it would bring back freedom and honor to oneself. That
is also the purpose of those elements of self-reliance and self-dependence
stated in duty to be ready, willing, and able to defend ourselves, in any
situation, and to be prepared to use lethal force to so defend ourselves.
On the other hand, I find numinous elements in the proclamation of the Code to
go back to those principles of honor that were germane to warrior societies of
the past. Honor, die rather then submit, loyalty, honesty, personal justice and
certain elements of so called „tribal justice“ are in stark opposition to the
all prevailing hubris, ego posturing, selfishness and various other deviations
of the European promethean spirit that is to be restored. So, in both
ways, does the Code call upon such a restoration – to live out numinous aspects
of the Code, to integrate them into your personality (so your very existence is
an act of rebellion) and to act sinisterly whenever necessary and to employ all
those methods that are needed to cause aforementioned Chaos, in order to make
way for that new type of Order, new type of being, not only on personal but,
more importantly, on Aeonic level as well.
When
you take a look at all those forms the ONA has been using so far, conclusions
made here have their confirmation, as all of them are manifestations of the
Code. They are all greatest heresies of our time, but they all contain numinous
aspects of the Code embedded in them. So, we have National Socialism, whose
teachings are prohibited today like no other, such examples couldn’t be found
even in some so called darker periods of human history, but they are present in
this „democracy“ we live in. Indicative, isn’t it? Well, NS certainly provokes
disorder, chaos and all those things described, their appearance alone is
enough to disturb, but also to discredit anyone connected to it. Besides this
obvious function, there was another, a bit esoteric, one, or numinous if you
like, that I find it was meant to be employed here. And this function is shown
through that Ethical Non-Racist NS which Myatt evolved, through which all those
key principles of the Code have been embodied. Ethical National-Socialism represents not only the essence of the
National-Socialism of Adolf Hitler, but is also a conscious and ethical
development of that particular Weltanschauung, founded upon the ethical
principles of honour, loyalty, and duty.” In one of our core manuscripts we
defined the essence of our Lodge as the “Path ov Esoteric Racism”, guided by
this noble evolution of the original NS.
Then
we have Islam, or in these terms better said Radical Islam, that is the
greatest enemy of now prevailing lifestyle of consumerism, usury, interest rate
(which is strongly forbidden by Sharia law) and capitalism embodied as it is in Amerika,
and the fierce fight of these people against it, a fight for keeping their
culture and ethos as it is, and not contaminated by imported democracy and “freedoms”
of the West. This fight for ethnical (and ethical) survival is something that
all indigenous peoples of the world should embark upon, to save their cultures
and traditional ways of life that are at the very heart of their existence. This
is yet another numinous aspect that ONA advocates and that is exoterically
sinister given its opposition to the trend of globalization. Besides that,
resemblances of Sharia law to prescriptions of the Code are very interesting. Trials
are conducted solely by the judge, and there is no jury system. Unlike civil
law, sharia is left to the interpretation in each case and has no formally
codified universal statutes. A confession, an oath, or the oral testimony of a
witness are the main evidence admissible in a hudud case, written evidence is
only admissible when deemed reliable by the judge. In lieu of written evidence,
oaths are accorded much greater weight; rather than being used simply to
guarantee the truth of ensuing testimony, they are themselves used as evidence.
Taking an oath for Muslims can be a grave act; one study of courts in Morocco
found that lying litigants would often "maintain their testimony 'right up
to the moment of oath-taking and then to stop, refuse the oath, and surrender
the case." I find this to be descriptive enough in terms of certain
principles.
Then there is Satanism, whose purpose is to build that character of defiance, and
who doesn’t have so much of a numinous undertone, but it still builds some
crucial aspects of those principles given in the Code. Actually, the numinosity
of Satanism can be perceived as awakening of that creative genius “we possess
to set in motion new Earth-shattering forms, and the arrogance to behave as the
embodiment of the future that we, in essence, are.” And it does so through adversity against those old forms and gods in an
upwards evolutionary surge.
All
of these forms can be useful to the proclaimed goals, as much as any other form
that is able to connect all those sinisterly-numinous principles in a practical
way, much like it is the case with these that I mentioned here. And as we have
also seen, they are all just practical manifestations of the Code, sinisterly-numinous
as it is, and as we ourselves are. Synthesis of those principles, at all
levels, should be emerging of that new type of being we strive for. And the
wonderful thing is that all of that is to be achieved through simply living
according to the principles of the Code.

APPENDIX:
The Code Of Kindred Honour
Logos of The Order of Nine Angles
Introduction
The Code sets certain standards for our own personal behaviour and how we relate to our own kind and to others. Our Code, being based on honour, thus concerns personal knowing, and therefore demands that we judge others solely on the basis of a personal knowing of them – on their deeds, on their behaviour toward us and toward those to whom we have given a personal pledge of loyalty.
We know our own kind by their deeds and their way of life; that is through a personal knowing.
The O9A Code
Those who are not our kindred brothers or sisters are mundanes. Those who are our brothers and sisters live by – and are prepared to die by – our unique code of honour.
Our Kindred-Honour means we are fiercely loyal to only our own O9A kind. Our Kindred-Honour means we are wary of, and do not trust – and often despise – all those who are not like us, especially mundanes.
Our duty – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to be ready, willing, and able to defend ourselves, in any situation, and to be prepared to use lethal force to so defend ourselves.
Our duty – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to be loyal to, and to defend, our own kind: to do our duty, even unto death, to those of our brothers and sisters to whom we have sworn a personal oath of loyalty.
Our obligation – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to seek revenge, if necessary unto death, against anyone who acts dishonourably toward us, or who acts dishonourably toward those to whom we have sworn a personal oath of loyalty.
Our obligation – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to never willingly submit to any mundane; to die fighting rather than surrender to them; to die rather (if necessary by our own hand) than allow ourselves to be dishonourably humiliated by them.
Our obligation – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to never trust any oath or any pledge of loyalty given, or any promise made, by any mundane, and to be wary and suspicious of them at all times.
Our duty – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to settle our serious disputes, among ourselves, by either trial by combat, or by a duel involving deadly weapons; and to challenge to a duel anyone – mundane, or one of our own kind – who impugns our kindred honour or who makes mundane accusations against us.
Our duty – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to settle our non-serious disputes, among ourselves, by having a man or woman from among us (a brother or sister who is highly esteemed because of their honourable deeds), arbitrate and decide the matter for us, and to accept without question, and to abide by, their decision, because of the respect we have accorded them as arbitrator
Our duty – as kindred individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to always keep our word to our own kind, once we have given our word on our kindred honour, for to break one’s word among our own kind is a cowardly, a mundane, act.
Our duty – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to act with kindred honour in all our dealings with our own kindred kind.
Our obligation – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – is to marry only those from our own kind, who thus, like us, live by our Code and are prepared to die to save their Kindred-Honour and that of their brothers and sisters.
Our duty – as individuals who live by the Code of Kindred-Honour – means that an oath of kindred loyalty or allegiance, once sworn by a man or woman of kindred honour (“I swear on my Kindred-Honour that I shall…”) can only be ended either: (1) by the man or woman of kindred honour formally asking the person to whom the oath was sworn to release them from that oath, and that person agreeing so to release them; or (2) by the death of the person to whom the oath was sworn. Anything else is unworthy of us, and the act of a mundane.
